Connecticut Closings is owned and operated by the attorneys and paralegals of Collins, Deans & Melocowsky, LLC, a Connecticut law firm, and together we can assure you of professional and integrated real estate and legal services.

From contract negotiation or review to the final handshake, we’re on your team and moving your closing process forward. For buyers and refinancers, we work closely with your lender or mortgage broker to be sure they get the information they need, such as title search, insurance coverage, etc. promptly and accurately. Working directly with the lender, our staff will calculate final Closing Figures prior to the actual Closing, allowing sufficient time for you to secure any necessary funds in the form of a bank or certified check. When all preparations are completed and the parties are ready, the Closing will be scheduled and you will become the owner of your new home, or your refinance will be complete.

For Sellers, we assist with negotiating or reviewing the sale contract and, working with the Buyer’s attorney, obtain any needed payoffs from the lien holders on your property, making sure that you are in a position to deliver clear title to the Buyer.
